Sami-Jo Florance

Sami-Jo Florance has demonstrated a diverse range of professional experience in social services and management roles. Currently serving as a Diversion Worker and Specialist Volunteering & Give Back Lead at Changing Lives since January 2022, Sami-Jo also held various positions including General Manager at BAO BAR and Duty Manager at The Falcon’s Nest. Prior experience includes Project Manager at NABIO, a social enterprise focused on empowering women in rural Kenya, as well as roles at Starbucks and as a Freelance Writer. Academically, Sami-Jo holds a Master of Science in Psychology from Leeds Trinity University, a Bachelor's degree in Children and Young People from Teesside University, and a Foundation degree in Children and Young People from Newcastle College.
