Shelley Newey

Shelley Newey has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Shelley currently holds the position of Head of Human Resources at Channel Infrastructure NZ, a role they have held since September 2023. Prior to this, Shelley was the Director of IK & SM Newey Transport Ltd, a position they held from April 2005 onwards. Shelley also worked as a Human Resources Advisor at Refining NZ from April 2005 until January 2018. Before that, they served as a Management Systems Coordinator at Intertruck Distributors from August 2003 to April 2005, and as a Training Coordinator at Tyco International NZ from January 2003 to August 2003.

Shelley Newey attended Kamo High School from 1993 to 1997. After completing high school, they pursued their higher education at The University of Waikato from 1998 to 2002, where they obtained a Bachelor of Management Studies degree with a focus on Human Resources Management and Services.
