Doug Raftery

Doug Raftery has extensive work experience as a software engineer. Doug began their career at SAP in 2006 as a Media Developer, where they worked until 2008. Doug then joined Avaya in 2008 as a Senior Software Engineer and remained with the company until 2023. Currently, Doug holds the position of Senior Software Engineer at Channel Mechanics, starting in 2023.

Doug Raftery attended Atlantic Technological University from 2001 to 2005, where they obtained a Bachelor of Technology (BTech) degree in Information Technology. In addition to their formal education, Doug has also acquired several certifications over the years. In February 2013, they became a Microsoft Certified Professional (MCPS) and obtained the MCTS .NET Framework 4.0, Web Applications Development C# certification from Microsoft. Doug further expanded their skills by obtaining certifications in C#: Advanced Practices, Angular Essential Training, and Software Architecture: Breaking a Monolith into Microservices from LinkedIn in January 2023.
