John Murphy

John Murphy has been working in the professional world since 2014. John began their career as a Senior Beach Lifeguard for Waterford City & County Council, a role which included team management, first aid, and lifesaving rescue. John worked multiple years in Ardmore and a year in Galway City and County. In 2019, they began working as a Freelance Filmmaker for Slaod. In 2022, they transitioned to a Software Engineer at Channel Mechanics.

John Murphy completed a Higher National Diploma in Software Design and Development from the University of Galway in 2022. Previously, they had obtained a Bachelor of Arts - BA in Drama, Theatre & Performance Studies with English from the University of Galway in 2021.
