Xinyi Zhao's work experience begins with a role as a Marketing Intern at Capsim Management Simulations Inc. in 2013. From 2014 to 2015, Xinyi worked as a Business Analyst at Reach Glory, collaborating with Sales and Business Development teams to develop marketing plans for Chinese firms. They then interned as a Big Data Analyst at Hewlett Packard Enterprise in 2016, managing the migration of a Healthcare Information System to China. In 2017, Xinyi joined Beyondsoft as a Delivery Health Analyst, building Power BI dashboards and conducting profitability analysis. They also worked as a Business Management Analyst, conducting business analysis and managing projects. In 2018, Xinyi joined Microsoft as a Senior Data Analyst, working with the Digital Crimes Unit on projects related to child online exploitation. They then worked at Adobe as a Senior Data Engineer and Team Lead, and later as a Senior Data Engineer. From 2021 to 2022, Xinyi worked at Shippo as a Data Engineering Manager. In 2022, Xinyi joined Amazon as a Software Development Manager. Finally, in 2023, Xinyi became a Co-Founder of Tomo Kitchen LLC and a Staff Software Engineer at Channel99.
Xinyi Zhao pursued their education in a diligent and disciplined manner, starting with their Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Economics and Communication Studies at Northwestern University from 2010 to 2014. Building on their undergraduate studies, they subsequently enrolled in the University of Southern California in 2015 to pursue a Master's Degree in Business Analytics, which they completed in 2016. Through their academic journey, Xinyi Zhao fostered an interdisciplinary skill set in the fields of economics, communication studies, and business analytics.
