Poonam Adhvaryoo has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Poonam started their career in 1997 as an Assistant Store Manager at Harveys Restaurant and worked there until 2000. From 2000 to 2001, Poonam worked as a Customer Service Associate at TELESPECTRUM CANADA. Poonam then moved on to work as a Telephone Interviewer/Market Research Associate at ACCESS RESEARCH from 2001 to 2002. In 2002, they worked briefly as a Merchant Processing Associate at Moneris Solutions and as an Assistant Branch Result Manager at AT&T CANADA. In 2003, Poonam joined Citi as an Account Specialist and worked there until 2011. Poonam then joined Shoppers Drug Mart as a Project Assistant in 2012, followed by a role as an Administrative Assistant at Mackenzie Health (York Central Hospital) and Payments (Operations Support) at Citi. Currently, they are working as a Customer Care Team Lead at ChannelAssist Inc.

Poonam Adhvaryoo completed a Diploma in Accounting and Payroll Specialist with a focus on Accounting and Payroll with PCP certification from CPA at CDI College in Toronto, Ontario from 2012 to 2013. Prior to that, they obtained a Diploma with highest honours in Medical Administrative Assistant from ICS Canada in 2011. Additionally, Poonam Adhvaryoo earned a Certificate of MOUS (Microsoft Office User Specialist) from Tazumi Tech in 2001.
