David Leis

David Leis has held various leadership roles in the field of education technology. Starting in 2013 at Yorktown Central School District as Director of Student and Evaluation Data, they later moved on to Greenburgh Central School District as Director of Technology and Innovation. In 2021, they joined CHAPPAQUA CENTRAL SCHOOL DISTRICT as Associate Director of Instructional Technology and Communications. Currently, they serve as the Director of Technology, Chief Information Officer, and Data Protection Officer at the Northport-East Northport School District.

David Leis holds a Bachelor's degree in Information Systems from Pace University - Seidenberg School of Computer Science and Information Systems. David also obtained a Master's degree in Educational/Instructional Technology from Pace University and a Master's degree in Educational Leadership and Administration from Manhattanville College. In addition, David holds certifications as an Educational Technology Specialist, School Building Leader, and School District Leader from the New York State Education Department.
