Souhail Salty

Souhail Salty has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. Souhail is currently working as the Head of Operations at Chapter since April 2023. Before that, they worked as the BD and Operations Manager at Chapter from November 2021 to April 2023.

Prior to joining Chapter, Souhail worked at McKinsey & Company as an Engagement Manager. In this role, they led teams serving software clients and focused on B2B SaaS growth. Souhail managed all aspects of the projects, including counseling C-Suite, team management, problem-solving, recommending solutions, and implementation planning. Souhail worked at McKinsey from January 2020 to October 2021.

Before McKinsey, Souhail co-founded Abound Parenting in 2018. As a Co-Founder, they hired and led a cross-functional team in designing and developing a mobile app for parents. The app aimed to empower parents in building early social awareness, critical thinking, and language skills in their young children. Souhail was with Abound Parenting from January 2018 to December 2019.

Souhail also worked briefly at Bridgewater Associates as a Senior Management Associate in July and August 2018. Souhail then joined GetSmarter as part of the CEO Office, focusing on growth and business operations. GetSmarter was an African Ed-Tech company that partnered with prestigious universities. During their time there from May 2017 to September 2017, the company was acquired by 2U for $100M.

Souhail's early career included two roles at McKinsey & Company. Souhail worked as a Program Manager for McKinsey Academy from July 2016 to April 2017, where they were responsible for launching new products, managing a team, and generating substantial revenue. Souhail started their career at McKinsey as a Business Analyst from September 2014 to June 2016.
