Sleiman Abdallah has a diverse work experience spanning over three decades. Sleiman started their career as an Instructor at Youngstown State University and later worked as an Instructor and Teaching Assistant at The University of Akron, where they taught mechanical engineering courses and conducted lab experiments.

After their time in academia, Abdallah joined GE Aviation as a Senior Project Engineer, where they provided engineering solutions to various high-tech industries and worked with prestigious clients such as GE Aircraft Engines, NASA, and Boeing.

Sleiman then joined The Hoover Company as a Senior Staff Engineer, where they served as a Project Manager and led cross-functional teams in redesigning floorcare products and launching new products. Abdallah also worked closely with senior management to set schedules and manage resources for new product development projects.

Abdallah's next venture was at Char-Broil, where they held multiple roles. As the Research and Development Engineering Manager, they incorporated new technology and innovation into Char-Broil's products and managed project schedules and goals. Sleiman later became the Director of Development Engineering, overseeing the entire Engineering team and collaborating with Asian suppliers to ensure the successful production of sourced products. Currently, Abdallah is the Senior Director of Global Engineering at Char-Broil, where they manage global development engineering activities and contributes to long-range strategy planning.

Sleiman Abdallah holds a Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from The University of Akron, which they obtained from 1992 to 1997. Prior to that, they pursued a Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Youngstown State University between 1990 and 1992. In the initial years of their education, from 1986 to 1990, they completed their Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from the same institution. Additionally, they obtained a certification in Performance Management: Setting Goals and Managing Performance from LinkedIn in March 2022.
