Kelly Costigan

Kelly Costigan has a diverse work experience. Kelly is currently the Director of School Partnerships at Character Lab since November 2022. Before that, they worked at Leadership for Educational Equity as a Coordinator, Policy & Community Impact from December 2019 to February 2022. Kelly also has experience as an Operations Manager at Democracy Prep Public Schools from July 2015 to June 2019. Prior to that, they worked as a Project Coordinator at Maddington Consulting Inc. from August 2013 to June 2015. Kelly also worked as a Head Officer's Assistant and Hiring Hall at UNITE HERE from March 2012 to July 2013. In addition, Kelly had a role as a Student Teacher at NYC Department of Education from September 2011 to December 2011. Earlier in their career, they worked as an Administrative Assistant at Columbia University from May 2005 to January 2008.

Kelly Costigan obtained a Bachelor of Science in Education (B.S.Ed.) degree from The City College of New York. Kelly studied Childhood Education and Psychology from 2009 to 2012. In addition, they also obtained a certification in Human Subjects Research – Social-Behavioral-Educational (SBE) Foundations from the CITI Program in April 2022.
