Structural Analysis Engineer at CHARGE CARS

Romans Semjonovs has extensive work experience in the automotive industry, starting in 2004 with Fast Line Racing as a Build Technician and Race Mechanic. Romans then worked at Qualimotor as a Technician from 2005 to 2014. From 2013 to 2016, they were a Build Technician and Engineer at Sports Racing Technologies. Semjonovs joined Harry Hockly Motorsport Ltd in 2016 as a Build Technician and Fabricator. Romans then moved on to M-Sport Ltd in 2017 as a Shell Fabricator. In 2018, they worked at GPRM LIMITED as a Build Technician. Most recently, they joined CHARGE CARS in 2019 as a Prototype Build Engineer, and later transitioned into the role of a Structural Analysis Engineer in 2022.

Romans Semjonovs has a diverse education history. Romans started their academic journey in 1998 at Riga State Technical College, where they pursued a Diploma in Automotive Engineering Technology/Technician. Romans successfully completed their studies in 2002.

Afterward, Romans focused on the field of aerospace engineering and attended the Transport and Telecommunication Institute from 2010 to 2014. Here, they acquired a Bachelor of Science degree in Aerospace Engineering.

To further enhance their knowledge and skills, Romans decided to pursue a higher level of education. From 2021 onwards, they enrolled at Brunel University London, where they are currently pursuing a Master of Science degree in Advanced Engineering Design, specializing in Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering. This program is ongoing and the expected completion date is not specified.

In addition to their formal education, Romans obtained certifications to supplement their qualification. Romans became a Certified Onshape Associate through Onshape, a PTC Technology, in January 2022. Additionally, they acquired the EASA Part-66 Category B1 certificates.
