Bobby Frost

Vice President of Business Development and Partnerships, North America at Chargetrip

Bobby Frost has an extensive work experience spanning over several roles in the business development, sales, and engineering fields.

In 2005, Bobby began their career as a CNC Specialist at Victory Performance Products. Bobby then moved on to work as a Machine Set-up / Programming and Tooling Specialist at Bosch Rexroth in 2010.

In the same year, they joined Jankel Tactical Systems LLC as a Vehicles Specialist, where they worked until 2013. During their time there, Bobby gained expertise in the field of vehicles and specialized in this area.

From 2013 to 2018, Bobby worked at Proterra Inc, where they held multiple roles. Bobby started as a Lead Engineer in the Launch Team, overseeing the development of heavy-duty battery electric buses. Bobby managed a team of technicians and engineers, set up vendors for prototyping, and designed tooling fixtures and testing equipment. Bobby also contributed to research and development of next-generation engineering solutions. Afterward, they transitioned into the role of Sales Engineer, where they trained sales and marketing teams and managed the company's demo/lease bus fleet.

Continuing their career, Bobby worked at ARRIVAL from 2020 to 2021, initially as the Vice President of Sales, North America, and later as the Vice President of Commercial - Americas. In the latter role, they crafted and executed a long-term electrification vision and product roadmap, gaining buy-in from the entire company. Bobby also built belief in the innovation teams, and successfully drove meaningful innovation to achieve the company's financial objectives.

Next, Bobby joined FLASH in 2021 as the Vice President of Business Development - Mobility, where they worked until 2023.

Currently, Bobby is the Global Sales Director at Xos Trucks, starting their tenure in January 2023.

Additionally, they are set to assume the role of Vice President of Business Development and Partnerships, North America at Chargetrip from June 2023 onwards.

Bobby Frost's education history begins in 2003 when they attended R. D. Anderson and studied Machine Tool Technology/Machinist. Bobby then went on to Spartanburg Community College from 2006 to 2010, where they pursued a degree in Mechatronics, Robotics, and Automation Engineering. In 2017, they attended the University of South Carolina and received a Certification in Project Management.
