Fiona Coulson currently serves as Deputy Vice-Chancellor Academic and Pro Vice-Chancellor Education Strategy at Charles Darwin University. With extensive experience in higher education leadership, Fiona has held various roles at CQUniversity, including Deputy Vice-President responsible for Education Strategy and Innovation, and Dean of both the School of Health, Medical and Applied Sciences and the School of Medical and Applied Sciences. Contributions include overseeing academic quality across numerous programs, leading strategic partnerships, and enhancing research capacities. Fiona has also served as a Board Member at Central Queensland Hospital and Health Service and Board Director at Nullu Badi Ngudybay Academy Limited, contributing to public health services and Indigenous education initiatives, respectively. Earlier career roles include lecturer and research fellow positions across several prominent institutions, including The University of Queensland and Griffith University, with a focus on pharmacology and physiology research. Fiona holds a PhD in Physiology and Pharmacology from The University of Queensland, along with other degrees in science and pharmacology.
