Charles Merrick

Charles Merrick is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in consulting within the energy sector. Currently serving as a Senior Consultant at AFRY since February 2020, Charles leads the development of the USA Gas Model and manages projects for various US markets while training new members of the Management Consulting Division. Prior to this role, Charles held positions at Siemens, including Senior Consultant, where responsibilities included the development of the USA Electric Model and support for integrated resource planning. Earlier experience also includes roles as a Power Markets Analyst at Pace Global, where modeling and analysis of the EPA's Clean Power Plan were key tasks, and as a Market Intelligence Analyst intern at Windsor International. Charles holds a Bachelor of Science in Economics from American University and is currently pursuing further education at King’s College London.
