Immediate Need for a Senior Controller - Manufacturing

Charles River CFO, Inc. is searching for an interim Sr. Controller, with the opportunity to become permanent, to work in a hybrid role for our manufacturing client in Wilmington, MA. Reporting to the CEO this position will work 30-40 hours per week. In addition, experience with MRP and Peachtree software is a must and the ability to suggest process improvements and system conversion evaluations.

Working as an embedded part of our client’s organization, you will consult as the primary Finance Executive for our client,  becoming the “go-to” Controller for its staff and leadership. Key areas of responsibility will include spend analysis, material & labor variance analysis, forecasting, KPI (key performance indicators) management and reporting, asset safeguarding, and evaluating/tracking cost-out opportunities.

Experience & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance

  • Experience as Controller in manufacturing or engineering environment is  essential

  • CPA preferred, but not required

  • Ability to analyze complex situations, identify critical issues, and solve problems

  • International experience in Asia and Europe
