Bruce Haynes

Bruce Haynes has an extensive work experience in crisis communications and issues management. Bruce is currently the Partner and Global Co-Chairman of Crisis Communications and Issues Management at FGS Global since June 2022. Prior to that, from 2018 to 2022, they worked at Sard Verbinnen & Co as the Managing Director, Partner, and Global Co-Chairman of Crisis Communications and Issues Management. Bruce also served as the Co-Head of Sard Verbinnen & Co's Washington D.C. office and Vice Chairman of SVC Public Affairs during that time. From 2009 to 2018, Bruce was the Founding Partner and President of Purple Strategies, where they provided strategic counsel to Fortune 500 companies, trade associations, non-profits, and national coalitions. Before that, they worked as the Managing Partner at National Media Public Affairs from 1999 to 2010. Bruce's early career includes serving as the Chief of Staff for U.S. Representative Bob Inglis from 1996 to 1999, where they oversaw the operation of a Member of the U.S. House of Representatives.

Bruce Haynes attended West Florence from 1981 to 1985, however they did not earn a degree or pursue a specific field of study during this time. From 1985 to 1989, Bruce Haynes attended Furman University but did not obtain a degree or specify a field of study. Bruce then attended Francis Marion University from 1989 to 1990, where they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Political Science. Finally, from 1991 to 1994, Bruce Haynes attended the University of South Carolina School of Law and earned a Juris Doctor (JD) degree with a focus on Law.
