Gene Chu

Gene Chu is a seasoned cloud engineering professional with extensive experience in designing and implementing cloud resources across notable companies. Currently serving as a Sr. Cloud Engineer at Charles River Laboratories since May 2021, Gene previously held the position of Sr. Cloud DevOps Engineer at AVEVA and worked as a Cloud Architect/Dev Ops at Kofax, where responsibilities included deploying and maintaining SaaS applications in Azure and AWS. Prior to this, Gene served as the Enterprise SharePoint Lead/Architect at Beckman Coulter, overseeing critical initiatives and managing SharePoint environments. Gene's career began at Guitar Center as the SharePoint Technical Lead, focusing on architecting server farms for enterprise environments. Gene holds an MBA from Pepperdine Graziadio Business School and a BS in Computer Information Systems from California State Polytechnic University-Pomona.
