Russell Scammell

Russell Scammell is an accomplished professional in the field of drug discovery and development, currently serving as Senior Director of Small Molecule Drug Discovery at Charles River Laboratories since August 2015. With prior experience as Director and Associate Director in Small Molecule Drug Discovery and expertise in Analytical Sciences and Operational Management, Russell has been pivotal in preclinical development. Before joining Charles River Laboratories, Russell held the position of Head of Analytical Sciences at Argenta Discovery and contributed as a Research Scientist at Sanofi, specializing in mass spectrometry. Russell graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Computing and Organic Chemistry from The Open University between 1994 and 1999.
