Matthew Smith has extensive experience in both the education and real estate sectors. Currently serving as the Assistant Director of Education & Training at the Suffolk County Department of Labor, Licensing & Consumer Affairs since August 2009, Matthew coordinates education and training programs for the unemployed and underemployed. Additionally, Matthew has been a Licensed Real Estate Salesperson with Charles Rutenberg Realty Long Island, Inc. since January 2017, offering services for buying and selling homes, and previously worked as a Real Estate Agent with Coldwell Banker Real Estate from June 2014 to January 2017. Matthew holds a Bachelor's degree in Accounting from Hofstra University, earned between 2003 and 2006.
