Kannan Jayaraman

Kannan Jayaraman is an accomplished technology leader with extensive experience in systems engineering and management. Currently serving as Director, Systems Engineering Principal at Charles Schwab since July 2022, Kannan previously held significant roles at Citi, including Senior Vice President and Vice President from September 2007 to July 2022. Kannan’s career also includes positions as Systems Integrator at PFPC (now BNY Mellon), Senior Consultant at Keane (an NTT Data company), and Consultant roles at PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP and Capgemini Consulting. Kannan began a career in software development as a Senior Software Engineer at PCS Technology Ltd. Kannan holds a Post Graduate Program in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning from The University of Texas at Austin, an M.S. in Computer Science from Boston University, an MBA from Southern New Hampshire University, and a B.E. (Hons) in Chemical Engineering from Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani.
