Matt Hastings

Matt Hastings is a Vice President and Head of Taxable Bond Strategies for CSIM. Mr. Hastings leads the portfolio management team for the Schwab Taxable Bond Funds and Schwab Fixed-Income ETFs. He also has overall responsibility for all aspects of the management of the funds.

Prior to joining CSIM in 1999, Mr. Hastings was in fixed-income sales and trading at Lehman Brothers. He has worked in the fixed-income securities industry since 1996.

Mr. Hastings earned a Bachelor of Arts in economics from the University of San Diego. He is a CFA® charterholder, and is a member of the CFA Society of San Francisco and the CFA Institute.
