Chelsea Mohn

Office Assistant at Charles Stewart Mott Foundation

Chelsea Mohn, an office assistant with the Foundation’s Grants Administration team, fell in love with horses when she was a young child. At 12 years old, she was invited to help around the barn at a therapeutic horseback riding facility and was thrilled to discover the inherent therapeutic properties of being around horses. Upon graduating with a bachelor’s degree in sociology from the University of Michigan-Flint, she earned her credentials as a certified therapeutic riding instructor through the Professional Association of Therapeutic Horsemanship International. Mohn teaches therapeutic horseback riding lessons in her free time and says that working with individuals who experience special needs provides her with an outlet to do what she loves best: helping people.
