Craig Kelley Jr.

Communications Associate at Charles Stewart Mott Foundation

Before joining Mott, Craig Kelley worked as an art program director for the Boys & Girls Club of Greater Flint. A Flint-area native, he began his career as a visual communications instructor for the GASC Technology Center in Flint. He received his Bachelor of Fine Arts in graphic design from the University of Michigan-Flint. As an artist, he specializes in both digital and marker illustration. Kelley attributes his love of art to his childhood fascination with cartoons. By 5th grade, he was sketching characters from his growing collection of comic books, an art form that continues to intrigue him as an adult. In his spare time, Kelley enjoys martial arts and is a Cho Dan Bo blue belt in the World Tang Soo Do Association. He also serves on the board of Red Ink Flint, which operates the Flint Local 432, one of the longest-running all-ages music venues in the country, and Factory Two, a community maker space.
