Sarah Mather

As a senior grants analyst, Sarah Mather collaborates with a variety of teams at Mott to facilitate the processing of grants and ensure compliance with Foundation policies. Born in Flint, Mather is a certified public accountant who holds a bachelor’s degree in finance and accounting from the University of Michigan-Flint, as well as a master’s degree in taxation from Wayne State University. Over the course of 14 years before joining Mott, Mather worked for accounting firms and several nonprofits in southeast Michigan. She worked at and provided asset stewardship for the Community Foundation for Southeast Michigan, the Gilbert Family Foundation and The Skillman Foundation. She also serves as a volunteer member of the finance committee at the Albert Kahn Legacy Foundation in Detroit.
