Christine Arroyo

Christine Arroyo is an accomplished music educator and conductor with extensive experience in orchestra instruction and leadership. Currently serving as the Youth Sinfonietta Conductor for the Charleston Symphony Orchestra and an orchestra teacher for Moultrie Middle School within the Charleston County School District, Christine has previously held significant roles, including Orchestra Director at Ralph Chandler Middle School and Haut Gap Middle School. Notably, under Christine's guidance, orchestra programs experienced substantial growth in enrollment and performance quality. Christine has received multiple awards for outstanding performance assessment and has led youth orchestras while fostering a deep appreciation for music among students and the community. Educational qualifications include a Master's degree in Music Education with a Conducting Specialization from Colorado State University and a Bachelor's degree in Music Teacher Education from the University of South Carolina.
