Derek Grimaldi

Derek Grimaldi, CHA, currently serves as General Manager at Charlestowne Hotels since October 2023, having an extensive career in hotel management. Since March 2006, Derek has held the position of General Manager at Dolce Hotels & Resorts, overseeing strategic planning and operations at leadership centers in London and Toronto, as well as managing an award-winning four-diamond hotel in downtown Midland. Prior experience includes General Manager roles at Delta Hotels from 2001 to 2006, ClubLink Resorts from 1998 to 2001, and Holiday Inn from 1991 to 1998. Derek holds a diploma in Hotel Management from George Brown College, achieved from 1987 to 1988, and completed secondary education at Morningstar Secondary, earning an OSSD between 1978 and 1982.
