Chris Scott

Chris Scott has 8 years of work experience in the finance and operations field. Chris began their career in 2008 as a Senior Accountant at KPMG Canada. In 2012, they moved to VendTek Systems as an Assistant Corporate Controller. In 2013, they became the Financial Controller at Exan Software, where they successfully managed the daily financial operations and implemented GP2013 ERP and Management Reporting systems. In 2015, they were the Director of Finance at Bit Stew Systems, where they developed the Bit Stew accounting system and built in controls, month-end close procedures, and auditing of accounting entries. In 2016, Bit Stew Systems was acquired by GE Digital, and Chris took on the role of Director of Accounting. In 2019, they moved to Elastic Path Software as Corporate Controller. Most recently, in 2020, they joined Charli AI as VP of Finance and Operations.

Chris Scott received a Diploma in Accounting from The University of British Columbia in 2008, and a Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Molecular Biology from The University of British Columbia in 2007. Chris began their studies at The University of British Columbia in 2003.
