Elham Alipour has a wealth of work experience, beginning in 2006 as a Member of the Scientific Committee for the 38th International Physics Olympiad. In 2008, they began working as a Teaching and Research Assistant at The University of British Columbia. In 2016, they became an Optimization Researcher at 1QB Information Technologies (1QBit). In 2017, they began working as a Staff and Senior Data Scientist at GE Digital. In 2018, they also worked as a Women's Network Hub Leader in Vancouver for GE. In 2019, they became Chief Scientist and VP Data Science for Charli AI, where they were responsible for managing, coordinating, and orchestrating workloads to reduce cognitive clutter. Finally, in 2021, they became an Investigator at Creative Destruction Lab.
Elham Alipour completed a Bachelor's Degree in Physics from Sharif University of Technology between 2004 and 2008. Elham then went on to obtain a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Physics from The University of British Columbia between 2008 and 2015.
