Ted Kaplan

Ted Kaplan currently serves as the Chief Business & Innovation Officer at Charlotte Douglas International Airport, where responsibilities include oversight of Business & Revenue, Economic & Community Affairs, and Innovation & Experience divisions. Previously, Ted held the position of Business & Revenue Director at the airport, managing its revenue portfolio. Prior to joining the airport, Ted worked as a Senior Assistant City Attorney for the City of Charlotte, advising on legal matters pertaining to the Aviation Department. Ted's legal experience also includes serving as an Associate Attorney at Kennedy Covington Lobdell & Hickman, specializing in commercial services and construction litigation. Ted Kaplan holds a Master's degree in Public Administration from the University of North Carolina School of Government and a Bachelor's degree in Political Science and Government from Davidson College.
