Mariam Hakim-Zargar MPH MD is a seasoned orthopaedic surgeon and healthcare advocate with extensive experience in professional medical organizations. Currently serving as Vice President and Council Member of the Connecticut State Medical Society, Mariam Hakim-Zargar also holds multiple leadership roles within the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, including Chair of State Legislative and Regulatory Issues and Executive Board Member of the AAOS PAC. Since 2009, Mariam Hakim-Zargar has been the President of NEW ENGLAND ORTHOPAEDIC CENTER, LLC and has contributed as a healthcare consultant for the State of Connecticut.
