New ownership acquired the USL franchise rights for Charlotte, NC in 2014 and began play on March 27, 2015 under a new team name: Charlotte Independence. Sights are set on moving Uptown to a revitalized American Legion Memorial Stadium in 2021. In the meantime, the team is proud to call the Sportsplex at Matthews home. Let's Ride!

The Operations Team at Charlotte Independence is responsible for coordinating and managing all game day activities to ensure seamless execution. This includes overseeing field operations, managing game day logistics, ensuring broadcast requirements for ESPN+ are met, and providing overall support to the team. The team works collaboratively to enhance the experience for players, staff, and fans at both the Sportsplex at Matthews and the new American Legion Memorial Stadium.
