Melissa Wint

Melissa Wint is an accomplished instructional coach currently working at Charlotte Lab School since August 2021, where significant contributions include the development of a successful 5th grade math curriculum that achieved a 70% passing rate for math EOG’s and increased proficiency by 20%. Prior to this, Melissa served as Grade Lead Chair and Resident Advisor at Achievement First from July 2018 to August 2021, where promotion to distinguished teacher occurred after two years and involvement in teacher development took precedence. Earlier experience includes a role as Lead Teacher at Success Academy Charter Schools from November 2015 to July 2018, focusing on tailored curriculum and classroom management, and as Lead Teller at Capital One from January 2012 to June 2014, where exceptional customer service was delivered. Melissa holds a degree from Relay Graduate School of Education.
