Ty White

Ty White, MPA, currently serves as a Library Services Specialist and Interim Access Services Manager at Charlotte Mecklenburg Library, where responsibilities include overseeing the Access Services department and enhancing patron experiences. Previous experience includes roles as Program Coordinator for GenerationNation, where Ty coordinated county-wide projects aimed at youth leadership and civic engagement, and various positions with AmeriCorps that focused on community service and education support. Ty's educational background includes a Master of Public Administration from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Government from Appalachian State University. Leadership accolades include the Leigh Edwards Spirit Award for outstanding service during tenure at Appalachian State University.
