Dionne Long

Dionne Long, M.Ed, has extensive experience in the education sector, notably with Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools since 2003. As the AIG Catalyst Teacher Leader since 2018, Dionne provides teachers with guidance on curriculum and instructional strategies while analyzing student data to identify differentiation needs. Previous roles include Elementary School Teacher, where Dionne was recognized as the Meck Ed. Teacher of Excellence in 2017, and served on the Instructional Leadership Team. Earlier experiences include positions as an EC Resource Teacher, Compliance Facilitator, and Instructional Assistant, along with a background in homeschooling and as a Center Director in child care settings. Dionne holds a Master of Education in Elementary Education from The University of North Carolina at Charlotte and a Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education from Ball State University.
