John Cline

John Cline is an experienced educational leader currently serving as the High School Principal at Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools since July 2020. Prior to this role, John held the position of High School Principal at Cedar Rapids Community School District from July 2017 to July 2020, and served as an Assistant Principal High School at Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools from August 2013 to June 2017. John holds a Bachelor of Arts in American Studies from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and a Master's degree in School Administration from Queens University of Charlotte. Education was further enhanced by time spent at Stanford University and attending Myers Park High School.
