Abbi Stacherski Karr has a diverse work experience in the field of clinical research coordination. Abbi began their career in 2017 at Alliance Urology Specialists, PA as a Research Regulatory Coordinator, where they managed and conducted clinical device and medication studies for various urological conditions. Abbi'sresponsibilities included maintaining regulatory and participant documents, ensuring research staff were adequately trained, and overseeing budget and billing for trials.
In 2018, Abbi joined the DORN RESEARCH INSTITUTE as a Clinical Research Coordinator. In this role, they served as the lead coordinator at the Columbia VAMC, overseeing the startup and conduct of protocols according to GCP and FDA guidelines. Abbi actively screened potential participants, obtained informed consent, scheduled and completed participant research visits, and maintained regulatory and essential documentation. Abbi also worked closely with site research staff, sponsors, and monitors, and completed all necessary IRB submissions.
Most recently, in 2020, Abbi joined Charlotte Radiology as a Clinical Research Coordinator. In this role, their responsibilities include overseeing the startup and conduct of protocols, screening potential participants, obtaining informed consent, and coordinating participant research visits.
Throughout their career, Abbi has demonstrated a strong commitment to exceeding requirements and positively impacting research sites and patients. Abbi has a thorough understanding of Good Clinical Practice (GCP) and FDA guidelines and is skilled in maintaining regulatory compliance, managing study supplies and equipment, and completing required documentation and training.
