Brian Poteat

Brian Poteat has extensive experience in facility operations and engineering, currently serving as the Director of Facility Operations and Engineering at the Charlotte Regional Visitors Authority since May 2015. In this role, Brian oversees all maintenance and back-of-house projects and setups. Previous positions include Director of Facilities, Chief Engineer, and Assistant Director of Engineering, where responsibilities focused on managing engineering department employees and coordinating venue projects with external contractors. Prior to this, Brian worked at Live Nation Entertainment from March 2005 to May 2015, handling venue maintenance, addressing safety issues, and managing all event-related engineering needs.
