Cdme Bill McMillan

Bill McMillan, CDME has a diverse work experience spanning over several decades. Bill began their career in 1983 with Interstate Hotels & Resorts, where they held various roles until 1999. In 1993, they joined the Charlotte Marriott Executive Park Hotel as the Director of Sales.

In 1999, Bill joined the Charlotte Regional Visitors Authority, where they initially served as the National Sales Manager until 2000. Bill then moved on to become the Director of Sports, a position they held until 2002.

Bill further expanded their expertise in the sports industry by joining the Charlotte Regional Sports Commission in 2002 as the Director of Marketing and Business Development. Bill remained in this role until 2010.

In 2008, Bill took a short stint with USA Canoe/Kayak as the Media Relations Director.

Finally, in 2010, Bill rejoined the Charlotte Regional Visitors Authority as the Senior Director of Sales, a position they currently hold. Bill's work experience showcases their extensive knowledge and experience in sales, marketing, and sports industry.

Bill McMillan, CDME received their Bachelor of Science degree in English from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte in the years 1980 to 1984.
