Michael Walton

Michael Walton, MBA, currently serves as the Manager of NASCAR/Charlotte Convention Center Parking Operations at the Charlotte Regional Visitors Authority, a position held since September 2017. Prior to this role, Walton was the Facilities Manager at SP+ from March 2015 to September 2017, overseeing the operations of a large automated parking facility. Additional experience includes managing valet and shuttle services at Charlotte Douglas International Airport as an Area Manager for Park Inc and leading a valet team at Charlotte Medical Center with E-Z Parking. Walton has also held management roles at several hotels in Charlotte and Winston Salem with LAZ Parking. Walton earned a Master of Business Administration in Project Management from Northcentral University and a Bachelor of Arts in Communication and Media Studies from North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University.
