Alyson Burch

VP, Retail Banking Officer at Charlotte State Bank

Alyson joined the Hometown Bank in 1999 as a Customer Service Representative and worked as the Branch Manager in Punta Gorda before being promoted to Branch Operations Coordinator in 2004. She was made a vice president in 2012, when she returned to the Punta Gorda office as Retail Banking Officer.

A New Jersey native, Alyson entered banking while still in high school, working part time at a bank in her home state. She continued her career after graduating in 1988, serving customers at First Fidelity Bank in New Jersey prior to moving to Port Charlotte in 1991. She was with another Charlotte County bank until being wooed away by Charlotte State Bank & Trust.

Alyson served as President of the Charlotte County Chamber of Commerce in 2016 and remained on the chamber’s Government Affairs Committee. She was a Leadership Charlotte Graduate in 2002 and received the Punta Gorda Rotary Service Above Self Award in 2015.

She is a director and board secretary of C.A.R.E. (the Center for Abuse and Rape Emergencies), Vice President-Elect of the Punta Gorda Rotary Club, and a member of the Public Safety Appreciation Night Committee.
