Craig DeYoung

President at Charlotte State Bank

Heavily involved in the banking industry in Charlotte County since graduating from Charlotte High School in 1980, Craig DeYoung joined Charlotte State Bank & Trust as a commercial real estate lender in 1994. He successfully advanced to Executive Vice President and Chief Lending Officer before becoming president in 2006.

During his tenure as president, Craig oversaw the expansion of the bank from four offices to opening of full-service branch offices in Charlotte Harbor in 2008 and North Port in 2017, in addition to a satellite office at South Port Square in Port Charlotte in 2016 and loan-production offices in Lee and Collier counties in 2015 and 2016, respectively. He also supervised numerous advances in products and services designed to make banking more convenient and rewarding to customers, including a home-based, locally staffed Trust and Investment Management Services division.
