Terri Martin

Terri Martin is a seasoned General Surgeon currently working at Surgical Specialists of Charlotte, P.A. since September 2018. Previously, Martin served as the Site Director for the Department of Surgery at VA New York Harbor Healthcare Systems from June 2015 to August 2018, overseeing administrative management. Prior experience includes practicing as a physician and surgeon at Veterans Health Administration, performing both minimally invasive and open surgical procedures from 2011 to 2015, and completing a clinical fellowship in minimally invasive surgery at Carolinas Healthcare System from 2009 to 2011. Martin also worked as a General and Trauma Surgeon at Advocate Health Care from 1999 to 2009 and completed a General Surgery residency at University of Chicago Hospitals from 1991 to 1999. Educational qualifications include a Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) degree and a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree, both obtained from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
