Pien Simons

Pien Simons possesses extensive experience in customer service and event organization, currently serving as a waitress and barista at Melles People since 2021, where involvement spans various prestigious venues. Alongside hospitality roles since 2015, Pien has worked as a student intern at Twig, contributing to research for a carbon footprint calculator, and has held positions including competition analyst and technical support assistant at Sungevity. Leadership skills were demonstrated as chairwoman of the Anniversary Committee for Dispuutgezelschap C.H.E.S.S., organizing events for large groups. Pien holds a Master of Science in Sustainable Business and Innovation from Utrecht University, complemented by a graduate exchange semester at York University and a Bachelor's degree from Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam. Additionally, Pien has also gained experience as a babysitter and hockey coach/referee, reflecting a diverse skill set.
