Misha Balmer

Misha Balmer has extensive experience in the field of electrical engineering, with a focus on renewable energy systems. Misha started their career at Sungevity in 2008, where they worked in various roles, including Installation and Permitting Operations, Senior Design and Engineering Specialist, Design and Engineering Operations Manager, and finally, Senior Manager of Design and Engineering. During this time, Misha was responsible for managing a team, overseeing PV system design, and implementing process improvements.

In 2016, Misha joined Sunverge Energy, Inc. as a Field Applications Engineer. In this role, they were the technical lead on energy storage projects in North America, handling tasks such as electrical system design, installation training, and field technician work.

In 2018, Misha moved to Borrego Solar Systems, where they worked as an Electrical Engineer II. Their responsibilities included reviewing electrical system designs for safety, collaborating with utility representatives, and performing power system studies.
