Lalit Mehta

Lalit Mehta is a Senior Research Chemist at Charnwood Molecular since October 2022, with previous experience as a Senior Research Associate at Aragen Life Sciences and Syngene International Limited. At Aragen Life Sciences, Lalit focused on the synthesis of potential drugs in a FT-based project, while at Syngene, efforts were centered on lead optimization for medicinal compound synthesis. Prior roles include Senior Researcher at Jubilant Chemsys Limited and Research Associate at Glenmark Pharmaceuticals, where Lalit contributed to API scalability and impurity analysis. Lalit also gained experience as a Project Assistant at Thapar University, working on the total synthesis of the anti-malarial compound Flinderole. Lalit holds a Master of Science degree in Organic Chemistry from Shoolini University and a Bachelor's degree in Biotechnology from VLB Janaki Ammal College of Arts and Science.
