Shawn Ovenden is an accomplished technology leader with extensive experience in application innovation and digital transformation across various industries. Currently serving as Director of App Innovation at Charter since April 2023, Shawn is focused on building a high-performing applications team utilizing the Microsoft Cloud ecosystem to deliver significant business outcomes for clients in Canada. Previously, as Resource Industry Leader at Avanade, Shawn drove digital transformation initiatives within the Resource Industry while overseeing business development and solution delivery. With a history of executive roles, including CEO and founder of Jepeddo Studios Ltd., and Director positions at Long View Systems and Labrador Technologies, Shawn possesses a strong foundation in developing innovative technology solutions. Shawn holds a B.Comm. in Management Information Systems from the University of Calgary, complementing a career that spans decades and multiple leadership positions in the technology sector.
