Anisa Alabastro

Anisa Alabastro is an experienced instructional coach and educator with a comprehensive background in teaching and supporting elementary students. Currently, Anisa serves as an Instructional Coach at Charter School Associates, focusing on training new teachers, collaborating with administration, and providing curriculum resources. Previously, Anisa was a First Grade Teacher during which time notable achievements included being named Elementary Teacher of the Year (2019-2020) and leading the K-2 team. Anisa's earlier roles included Kindergarten Teacher positions at Charles Drew Elementary and Broward Estates Elementary, where engaging and differentiated instruction was emphasized. Anisa also has experience as a Teacher Aide, providing specialized support to students with special needs, and held an administrative role in a medical office prior to entering education. Anisa holds a Master of Science in Education from Bank Street College of Education and a Bachelor of Arts from Sarah Lawrence College.
