Jason Shaad has a diverse work experience spanning several organizations. Jason most recently served as the Vice President and Practice Leader for Operations and Enrollment on the Impact Team at Charter School Growth Fund. Prior to that, they held the role of Director of Finance and Operations Practice on the Impact Team at the same organization. Their work experience also includes positions at Uncommon Schools, where they served as the Associate Chief Operating Officer and Founding Co-Director for Operations. Additionally, they were a Broad Resident at The Broad Center for the Management of School Systems and an Education Pioneers Fellow at Uncommon Schools. Jason also worked as a Research Consultant at The After-School Corporation and as a Guest Lecturer at Princeton in Asia. Jason began their career as a Middle School Teacher at Teach for America and as a Business Journalist at Kansas City Business Journal.

Jason Shaad has a Bachelor's degree in Journalism from The University of Kansas. Jason also holds a MST degree in Adolescent Education from Pace University. Jason has a Master of Arts (MA) degree in Educational Leadership and Administration, General from The Broad Center. Additionally, they have an MPA degree from Columbia | SIPA.
