Anish Wadia

Anish Wadia, C.Arb has a diverse and extensive work experience in the field of arbitration and alternative dispute resolution. Anish has held various roles and responsibilities in different organizations.

In 2015, Anish Wadia joined the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (CIArb), where they served as a Course Director, Assessor, and Tutor for Construction Adjudication. Anish was also involved in assessing and tutoring mediation courses. Additionally, they were appointed as a member of the Examinations Board and Course Director for International and Domestic Arbitration. As a Regional Pathway Leader, they oversaw the training program and managed the regional faculty for the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators.

In 2018, Anish Wadia became a Council Member of The Malaysian Institute of Arbitrators (MIArb) and served as the Co-Chair of the International Affairs & Regional Liaison Committee. Anish was responsible for facilitating the practice and study of arbitration and other alternative dispute resolution methods. Anish also chaired the Training & Professional Development Committee.

Anish Wadia's experience also includes working with Prime Dispute as an Ambassador for Asia & Australasia and being a Certified Educator and Course Director. Anish was involved in promoting and providing education in the field of dispute resolution.

Anish has served as an Ethics Commission Member for the International Mixed Martial Arts Federation (IMMAF), ensuring compliance with organizational policies and advising the CEO and Board on ethical issues.

Anish Wadia has been a part of various committees and commissions, including the Advisory Board Member for the Indore Institute of Law's Global Legal Course, Committee Member for the Solicitors Association of Higher Court Advocates (SAHCA), and a member of the Arbitration & ADR Commission for ICC Afghanistan. Anish has also held Board Membership roles in organizations such as the Chinese European Arbitration Association (CEAA) and the Hyderabad Arbitration Centre (HAC).

Furthermore, Anish Wadia has participated in the Young ICCA Mentoring Program as a Buddy and mentored several young professionals in the field of arbitration.

Anish Wadia, C.Arb has a diverse and extensive education history. Anish began their education at The Cathedral and John Connon School, where they obtained an Indian Certificate of Secondary Education (I.C.S.E.) in 2000. Anish then attended H.R. College of Commerce and Economics, earning a Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com.) degree in 2005, with a focus on Business Management.

In the same year, Anish Wadia also completed a Post Graduate Certificate in Alternative Dispute Resolution (P.G.C.A.D.R.) from K.C. Law College, specializing in Arbitration and Mediation. Anish continued their legal education at K.C. Law College, completing a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) degree in 2008, with a focus on Conflict of Laws, Intellectual Property Laws, and Criminology.

In 2013, Anish Wadia pursued further specialization at West Bengal National University of Juridical Sciences, obtaining a Diploma in Entrepreneurship, Administration, and Business Laws. Anish then went on to complete a Diploma in International Arbitration from the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (CIArb) in the United Kingdom in 2018. Anish'sfield of study during this diploma program was International Arbitration.

Anish Wadia also attended the Asian International Arbitration Centre (AIAC), formerly known as KLRCA, from 2018 to 2019. During this time, they participated in a Certificate Programme in Sports Arbitration.

In 2020, Anish Wadia pursued several short-term courses to enhance their skills further. These include a 6-Day Certificate Course on Maritime Labour Law from Gujarat Maritime University, a Professional Diploma in Certified Blockchain Professional from Africa Blockchain Institute, Rwanda, and a Certificate Training for Senior Arbitrators from the National Institute of Securities Markets (NISM), focusing on Financial, Commodities & Derivatives’ Markets, including Forensic and Electronic Evidence in Arbitrations.

In addition to their education history, Anish Wadia has obtained various certifications, including becoming a Chartered Arbitrator (C.Arb) from CIArb in 2022.
