Peter Aiers Obe Ihbc Fsa Frsa

Peter Aiers OBE IHBC FSA FRSA serves as the 34th Master and Chief Executive of The Charterhouse since March 2022. Previously, Peter held several significant roles at The Churches Conservation Trust from July 2007 to March 2022, including Chief Executive Officer and Director for the North and South East regions, where Peter was instrumental in devising and delivering the organization’s overall strategy and innovating the Champing (tm) initiative. Prior to that, Peter worked at the Diocese of London as Project Development Manager and Conservation and Development Officer, overseeing a range of building projects and providing conservation advice. Earlier experience includes serving as Conservation Team Leader at East Northamptonshire District Council and various positions at English Heritage. Peter holds a BSc Hons in Heritage Conservation from Bournemouth University, completed in 1995.
